Our History

2018
As One Cooking Academy was officially established!
Gluten-free cooking classes were very rare at that time. We started with physical classes teaching allergy-friendly cooking. We also began to develop more recipes to prepare for the online self-learning platform.

Started With Allergy-Friendly Baking
In the beginning, we came across many people with allergies and eczema. That’s why teaching allergen-free baking, such as free of gluten, dairy and egg, was our main focus.
At that time, our physical classes were popular among the locals in Hong Kong. Our online classroom began to be noticed by overseas friends.

2019
We attempted to launch our first online live-streaming class! This kind of live-streaming broadcast allowed the teacher and students to interact in real time, making participants feel more at ease.
Although online live broadcasts are already very popular in Western countries, it was still a new way of learning and most of the public had never been exposed to this in Hong Kong at that time.
This has made us to become the first cooking school in Hong Kong to launch online live courses!

2020
At the beginning of the year, the coronavirus outbreak began around the world.
Everyone started staying at home and maintaining social distance. We continued to teach online to the public, corporate and institutions.

2021-2025
Our teacher Bonnie embarked a new journey. She went to her other company NutriAlley to work as a full-time chef in a commercial kitchen, producing gluten-free and allergy-friendly foods.
The past four years were such a tough but enriching training. Not only did she develop many new recipes, she also transformed her creations into commercial products and collected feedback from the public.

Bonnie learned great knowledge in kitchen management, commercial product production and operation, and most importantly, she learned more about what people really need and their taste preferences. These valuable experiences allow her to design higher-quality courses, and prepare herself to train new gluten-free chefs in the future!
